Hey everyone,
My first post here! I tore my plantar fascia about 6 weeks ago. Wore a boot for 4 weeks, now I'm in the midst of PT to strengthen foot. My PT doc told me he didn't want me to go barefoot ever again! I have to wear inserts in my regular shoes or my sneakers that have a built in arch. This is ok for most of the time but when I am around the house, I would like to wear slippers! Clomping around in sneakers all the time is a drag not to mention exhausting. :-/. Anyway, can someone recommend a good slipper they've worn that has good support? I don't really want to buy a $60 pair of slippers. I feel like I've already spent enough $$ on this injury! But if I have to, I will. I just want to know which slipper is best so I don't waste my time and money on something that will set my recovery back.
Thanks in advance!
Eunice

Hi Eunice,
I also can't walk barefoot ever since the doctor butchered my foot from plantar fasciotomy. My arch is literally minced meat now. I literally have to leave my slippers right by the bed for those trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I wear these. They are expensive but worth it. I tried their other slippers but they didn't fit right so I stick with these sliders and you can adjust the straps. Good luck with your PT.

Thank you, Joan! Those look really nice, I may ask for a pair for Christmas. My PT told me I could wear anything in a boot style so I spent about $30 on a pair of Dearfoams but they are a little noisywhen I walk (they have a shoe-like sole) so another pair like yours would be a goof thing. They look comfy and warm.
I am sorry to hear you are not doing so great after your surgery. I hope things improve for you soon!
